Girls Flag Football Tryouts Summary
We are excited to announce tryouts for our Girls Flag Football teams across various age groups: U10, U12, U14, and High School. The tryouts are open to all girls interested in playing competitive flag football and developing their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Age Groups:
U10: For girls aged 9 and 10, focusing on learning the fundamentals of the game in a fun and engaging way.
U12: For girls aged 11 and 12, emphasizing teamwork, skills development, and sportsmanship.
U14: For girls aged 13 and 14, building on advanced techniques, strategy, and game awareness.
High School: For girls in high school (grades 9-12), focusing on competitive play, leadership, and advanced skills.
What to Expect:
Evaluations will be based on skills such as passing, catching, running routes, defensive positioning, and teamwork.
Coaching staff will provide guidance and assess individual performance in a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
Athletes will participate in drills, scrimmages, and position-specific evaluations to showcase their abilities.
Practices will be Sunday evenings with individual drills on Tuesdays with times TBD. (Approximately 4-8 total practices before tournament)
Important Information:
Please wear athletic clothing and cleats suitable for playing football.
Bring a water bottle and any necessary equipment.
Tryouts are free to attend, and all skill levels are welcome.
